The MBW PT30 is a 30” diameter Resin and Early Entry Concrete finishing power float combined, thanks in part to its ultra-lightweight design, compact size and low controllable operating rpm, that enables it to be used to finish resin bound and newly poured wet concrete surfaces alike.
This simplistic, easy to use and easy to control pole trowel features manual blade pitch adjustment of up to 25o, concentrating the weight for maximum surface compaction and improved surface finishing.
A key feature of the PT3 is its ultra-low weight (weighing in at just 20 kgs), that enables it to excel at compacting and levelling resin bound stone on various surfaces and newly poured wet concrete; allowing access much earlier than much heavier conventional power floats.
It operates at a low rotational speed range (40-70rpm) that provides more enhanced control and has a simple steering mechanism which is controlled by twisting the main handle, for precise directional manoeuvrability. It can be used with a maximum of 2 additional handles, which allows operation from up to 5.4m away, providing the added flexibility and ability to finish wet surfaces without walking on them.
This high-specification motorised 30” power float features several user and performance enhancing features, including manual blade pitch adjustment of up to 25o for greater compaction per square inch, variable throttle control, easy directional steering control for precise movement, a centrifugal safety stop for improved operator safety, together with a robust, durable and filly-sealed planetary gearbox. It is additionally powered by a reliable Honda GX35 4-Stroke petrol engine.
MBW PT30 (Honda Petrol) – 30”/750mm dia. Blade pitch adjustment of up to 25o. 20kg.
Supplied complete with a single 1.8m long handle and a set if steel combination blades.
The PT30 has a lightweight design and is simple and easy to use.
It has a robust, durable and fully sealed inline planetary gearbox and is powered by a low emission Honda GX35 for hassle free operation.
Blade pitch function of up to 25 degrees allows the PT30 to be used for initial floating of wet concrete right through to final finishing. It is also suitable for other finishing applications too, including resin bound surfaces.
The maximum number of handles that can be used at any one time with a Port-A-Trowel is 3. When used with additional handles, operating control of the PT30 may be reduced.
