The RTX60M is a heavy-duty, narrow bodied 4-stroke trench rammer with high level compaction and extra power for use on cohesive materials and gradients. Trench rammers are ideal for compacting hardcore, soil, lean mix concrete in trenches, asphalt reinstatement works and other confined areas.
This well balanced and easy to control rammer has a strong, durable design and unlike many other competitor equivalents features a 4-stroke Honda petrol engine and a choice of various sized interchangeable feet for greater product versatility across a wider range of compaction tasks.
The air cooled 4-stroke single cylinder OHV Honda GXR120 petrol engine fitted to the RTX60M has been specifically designed for high vibration toughness making it the ideal power source for rammers, unlike other, more standard engines used by some other manufacturers of trench rammers. It has a carburettor primer bulb for easy starting in any conditions, a triple-filtration air cleaner system, duel-filtration fuel system and a heavy-duty protected throttle lever.
The engine is protected by a simple, efficient and easy to access swing-out protection side cover, which also provides easy access to maintenance points. The low maintenance leg of the RTX60M has an oil level sight glass and is equipped with a grab handle for improved product handling, together with a front roller on the main handle for easy transportation. Both the lower grab handle and front roller are easily replaceable if they become damaged.
