The reliable 4-Stroke air-cooled single cylinder Honda GXR120 petrol engine used to power the Altrad Belle RTX68R has been specifically designed and developed for high-vibration toughness, making it the ideal and most suited power source for rammers and other vibratory compaction equipment. The Belle RTX68R also features a carburettor primer bulb, for easy starting, whatever the conditions, together with a triple-filtration air cleaner system, a dual-filtration fuel system and a heavy-duty protected throttle lever for improved serviceability.
The engine itself is protected by a simple, yet efficient and easy to access swing-out protection side cover, which also provides easy access to maintenance points. The low-maintenance leg of the RTX68R has an oil sight glass and is equipped with a lower grab handle and front roller for improved handling and easy transportation. Both the lower grab handle and front roller are easily replaceable if they become damaged too.
