The CM 1000 has a large 720 x 800mm work surface which is reinforced and considerably stronger than other saws in the Clipper Jumbo family. This enables it to withstand loads of up to 350kgs, compared to the 60-100kgs maximum payloads with other Jumbo models. It is also designed for use with 900 and 1000mm diameter blades for maximum cutting versatility.
The saw designed for industrial static use, continuous cutting operations as well as site use. Its side mounted handwheel operation makes it both very safe and easy to use. Despite its size, it is surprisingly easy to manoeuvre and transport, with four mounted transport wheels (two of which are lockable), fork lift eyes and multiple lift points. It is also very easy to clean and easy to maintain. Blade changes are also quick, simple and easy to do thanks in part to the easy to access designed blade guard.
The saw cutting head is controlled by the operator from the side of the machine by a large handwheel. This design allows the cutting head of the saw to be wound clear of the table without causing any obstruction, allowing larger and heavier materials to be safely loaded and/or loaded from overhead if required. The cutting head of the saw is spring loaded, easy to adjust (cutting height) and lock into the desired position of choice. This is particularly beneficial when step cutting larger and dense materials.
The saw has an integral electric water pump and large water tank for recirculating water for wet cutting applications. Access to the water pan for drainage and cleaning is also easy, as is other general routine maintenance. A pull out splash guard located at the front of the saw underneath its table can be easily employed to reduce the amount of splash made when the machine is in use.
