The Jumbo 1000 has a heavy-duty construction and a large work surface (720 x 800mm) for permits easy loading. It is designed for continuous cutting operations on the job site or static industrial use. It is a very safe and easy saw to use and maintain.

For ease of loading and improved operator safety, the saw is designed such that the cutting head is manually traversed by the operator via a handwheel mounted on the side of the machine, so that cutting head and blade are clear of the work surface. This allows material to be safely loaded and positioned without impediment. This design also allows materials to be safely loaded from overhead if required. A graduated scale on an angle provides the user with greater visibility of the cutting guide position.

The saw has an integral electric water pump and large water tank for recirculating water for wet cutting applications. Access to the water pan for drainage and cleaning is also easy, as is other general routine maintenance. A pull out splash guard located at the front of the saw underneath its table can be easily employed to reduce the amount of splash made when the machine is in use.

The cutting head of the saw is spring loaded, easy to adjust (cutting height) and lock into the desired position of choice. This is particularly beneficial when step cutting dense materials. Blade exchange is made easy thanks to the concertina opening blade guard which allows the user simple and easy access to the blade shaft area. Not only does this provide simple and easy access, it also greatly reduces the machine downtime when the blade is being replaced.
