Unlike many other tile saws, the TT251 does not have a water pump. Instead as the blade rotates it passes through the integral water pan contained within the base of the saw, picking up sufficient water to effectively and efficiently cool the blade and suppress dust as it does. This means that there is no expensive water pump to be cleaned, break down or replaced. The water pan of the saw is quick and easy to remove, making it incredibly easy to fill, empty and clean. It is also galvanised to prevent corrosion and when removed, provides easy and excellent to the blade for exchange purposes.
The TT251 is strongly made, yet light enough and compact enough to easily carry and move, thanks in part to the two conveniently positioned carry handles mounted to the side of the saw together. Cutting accuracy is key when cutting ceramics and other similar hard materials and is why the TT251 is equipped with a robust and accurate adjustable cutting guide (lockable on both sides of the saw table top), a large stainless steel work surface for improved product stability, a blade guard support which has been specifically designed to avoid interference with tiles whilst they are being cut and a powerful 1kW motor.
*N.B: The TT251 is a tile saw. It is not designed or should be used to attempt to cut masonry materials and/or concrete products*
