The Prime 120S is a high quality, high performance radial cutter with an overhead rail. It has an avant-garde design and is packed with vanguard technical innovations for enhanced cutting accuracy and performance over the entire cutting length of 1200mm (1.2m). It also features a tilting cutting head which makes mitre cuts easy work, together with an integral recirculating electric water pump for wet cutting applications.

Battipav Prime S line saws have many design features which ensure a high degree of cutting accuracy over the entire material length. They are strong and precise, thanks to a combination of actors, including their main construction from modular extruded aluminium interchangeable profiles, which provide strength and rigidity at a comparative reduced weight and reduce associated torsional stresses. Key also is the powerful 2.2kW motor and the extruded aluminium tilting bridge and overhead rail, which reduce deflection.

The cutting head of the Prime 120S is controlled by a small handwheel mounted at the end of the saw which allows the operator to gradually feed/traverse the head across the material being cut with both accuracy and ease. It can also be tilted for producing angle cuts of up to 45° with minimal effort and maximum accuracy, as well as plunged for cutting inserts, shapes etc. Its blade guard features a patented water spray system and is insulated to lower operating noise levels too. The blade guard has 3 locking screws which allow quick and easy access and blade exchange.

Carry handles on either side of the saw and a high-quality wheel kit with 200mm diameter rubber wheels to aid transportation to and around site. This allows the saw to be towed or carried into position. Its incorporated, patented ‘fast leg’ retractable leg system with quick release/locking levers enables fast setup and dismantling.

The working table of the Prime 120S is generously sized and can comfortably accommodate masonry materials and natural stone products, making it perfect for cutting a wide variety of wall and floor tiles, paving slabs etc, as well as a wide range of other products, like bricks, blocks, kerbs etc too. It is made of aluminium and easy to clean too, providing a stable, sturdy for materials being cut, which prevents materials breakages and culminates in a smoother cut. The working table consists of component aluminium inserts which are easy to remove for ease of maintenance and cleaning.

A professional adjustable goniometer fence is also included with the Prime 120S as standard.
