The DMS240 is a highly versatile and user-friendly diamond core drilling rig assembly which is ideal for a wide variety of medium-duty diamond drilling applications.

It is the perfect diamond drill rig for drilling holes for ventilation, plumbing and waste water pipes, electrical cabling channels, barrier installation, road signs, angle drilling, stitch drilling and much, much more!

Key to the DMS240 is its advantageous power-to-weight ratio, portability, simplicity and ease of use.

It has an ingenious, simplistic but well-considered design and features which includes a two-speed carriage with single and double gearing which provides the operator with the ability to select the optimum cranking speed to suit each individual application and a removable spring-loaded depth feed/crank handle which when removed doubles up as a tool kit which can be used to adjust the angle of the drill column and base plate level bolts.

It also features a lightweight combination baseplate made of aluminium which can be used for both anchor bolting and vacuuming securely into position as required (occasionally surface depending too). It is also equipped with a transport wheel kit and a soft-grip carry handle for ease of movement to and around the job site, together with overload protection which increases productivity and extends service life.

The drill stand column has a clear and easy to read graduated scale affixed to it on either side which allows the operator to clearly and easily identify the depth their current drilling depth. It also has a similar scale on it at the rear which clearly indicates the angle which it is set at, this is particularly beneficial when angle drilling and a spirit bubble to help the operator easily identify if the rig has been set up perpendicular, which is often paramount.
