The Von Arx SC20 is a compact, lightweight, easy to use and highly versatile walk-behind push single-phase (110V) surface scraper with a 8”/200mm to 9”/230mm working width floor scraper which is ideal for a multitude of small to mid-size lighter duty applications and renovations jobs, including lifting carpet tiles, foam backed tiles, foam backed carpets, cork tiles, matting, strip floor coverings and remove felt, underlay, linoleum and vinyl flooring, as well as used to create a distressed effect on hardwood flooring.

It is suitable for use with a choice of two custom blades, a standard 8”/200mm blade with a working width (supplied with the SC20 as standard), the other a larger “U” shaped blade with a 9”/230mm wide working width (available as an optional extra). Both blades are quick and easy to interchange and can conveniently be set to different angles  (10^º, 18^º, 20^º and 34^º) as required.

The 8”/200mm standard blade is designed to strip floor coverings, lift carpet tiles and foam backed carpets, together with cork tiles and matting, whilst the larger 9”/230mm wide “U” shaped blade is more suited for removing felt, underlay, linoleum, vinyl flooring and matting.
