The PM001GZ01 is a brushless backpack mist blower, powered by Makita’s 40 V battery platform. It delivers speeds up to 13800 – 25000 min-1 (3 modes), a 15 L capacity, and a 11.9 kg body weight, making light work of demanding garden and site tasks.
Unlike a standard leaf blower, this is a liquid sprayer: it combines a backpack-mounted blower with a 15 litre tank, used to apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, fertilisers and disinfectants as a fine mist across gardens, orchards, crops and other plants. It delivers a variable spray rate from 180 to 1,400 ml/min with up to 14m of horizontal reach, and is ULV (Ultra Low Volume) compatible for very fine-mist pesticide application. A switch-interlocked valve suppresses dripping when not spraying, and when two batteries are fitted the tool switches between them automatically for extended runtime, making it well suited to agriculture, landscaping and professional pest control work.
This blower is supplied body-only, making it a smart pick if you’re already invested in Makita’s battery platform.
