The Husqvarna Technical Mips® Forest Helmet is a lightweight, high-specification professional protective helmet equipped with Mips® safety system for forestry helmets, which is designed to provide movement inside the helmet tp help redirect rotational motion away from the head in certain angled impacts; research indicates that rotational motion poses a higher risk of brain injury compared to direct impacts.

This sturdy and comfortable pro grade safety helmet comes with a visor, ear protection and neck guard too as standard. It has a modular design, allowing you to change visor and ear protection to suit any condition, with the visor wrapping around your face to provide and excellent field of view, whether it’s in the down or standby position, thereby ensuring an unhindered view of the treetops.

The helmet is equipped with many other refinements including a one hand ratchet for easy adjustment, a UV expire indicator, reflexes for improved visibility and safety, together with an etched visor for low light reduction and a mesh ventilation system to keep your head temperature comfortable. It also features a convenient click design visor that makes it easy to switch between visors completely and without tools.

Optional extras for the helmet include a head lamp and hearing protection with FM radio.
