Husqvarna X-COM Active Hearing Protection Ear Muffs (helmet mount) have been developed specifically for professional tree care teams to provide a reliable, crystal-clear full duplex intercom system that allows up to 10 people to talk simultaneously, with the added benefit of effective hearing protection from loud surrounding noises, whilst the built-in side noise-cancelling boom microphone helps you hear ambient sounds still clearly too. They also feature MultiPoint Bluetooth® connectivity which enables you to connect two devices to your headset at the same time, permitting wireless audio streaming and hands-free phone calls (team communication is always prioritised). This allows you to connect to any external user to your whole team through a phone call, which is particularly useful when working with users who do not own Husqvarna X-COM Active hearing protection.

These robust, weatherproof and user-friendly Pro-Grade hearing protection ear muffs have a communication range of zero to 400m, with the ability to maintain crystal-clear communication throughout the entire distance. They feature a sidetone function that allows you to hear yourself whilst talking to eliminate unintended shouting, large and easy to use buttons with quick and intuitive operation, together with self-healing wireless network technology that enables team members to leave and rejoin the team without affecting communication for others. This is particularly useful if some team members walk way, they will automatically create their own network, automatically rejoining the larger network when they return. They are supplied with two adapters as standard which enables them to be fitted to different types of compatible Husqvarna helmets.

The full-duplex communication enables up to 10 team members to communicate simultaneously with high-audio quality, even in noisy conditions and without any delay. You can also easily divide communication without splitting up the team with a simple press of a button; by pressing and holding the button, you can reach out to everyone simultaneously. The three group channels allows smaller work groups to be formed and work apart, but still able to reach everyone when necessary….like when it’s time for lunch!

Husqvarna X-COM Active hearing protection ear muffs (helmet mount) are equipped with an integrated battery that charges quickly from any USB-C charger and once fully charged, have sufficient charge to last a full working day (charging cable supplied as standard). They also boast Sound attenuation (SNR level) 32 dB, IP45 weatherproof classification and are approved according to EN 352:2020, ANSI S3.19-1974, AS/NZ S1270:2002.
