The Husqvarna S2800 Composite Splitting Axe is made for splitting large logs and chunks of wood for firewood.

This powerful, robust, durable and dependable splitting axe is 70cm long and weighs 2.8kg.

It features a fiber-reinforced PA shaft with a soft-grip ergonomic handle with a hooked end for secure handling, with a balance point close to the axe head which for perfect balance and weight distribution. It also additionally features stainless steel handle protection which is designed to protect the critical part of the handle for extended product life.

The axe has a geometric head which has been specially adapted for splitting larger-sized logs and has a non-stick coating which gives less friction and easy entry into the wood, with a durable milled back for hammering wedges (no steel wedges).

The combination of the optimised axe head and light shaft concentrates the power into the cut which gives and easier split of the logs.
