The Husqvarna A1400 Composite Universal Axe is made for splitting different kinds of woodwork and resinous wood, making it ideal for both construction or forest work alike.

This robust, durable and dependable axe is 60cm long and weighs just 1.4kg.

It features a fiber-reinforced PA shaft with a soft-grip ergonomic handle with a hooked end for secure handling, with a balance point close to the axe head which for perfect balance and weight distribution. This combination gives high penetration and power to the cut. It also additionally features stainless steel handle protection which is designed to protect the critical part of the handle for extended product life.

The axe has a geometric head which has been specially adapted for woodworking and has a non-stick coating which gives less friction and easy entry into the wood, with a durable milled back for hammering wedges (no steel wedges).
