MBW understands that for a power trowel to function properly they must maintain a precise perpendicular relationship between the gearbox’s output shaft and blade arms. Once that relationship is compromised trowels will begin to vibrate and/or wobble. MBW floats are precisely engineered and overbuilt to maintain this critical relationship and with it, the performance reliability and dependability that you would only expect from an MBW trowel.
MBW ISO compliant low profile guard rings are extra strong, durable and safe. Their design allowing easy cleaning and blade changes. Safety is also key with MBW produced trowels. Safety switches are fully enclosed and constructed from durable materials with wire and cables housed at their most vulnerable positions. Basic operating and safety instructions are prominently positioned too.
MBW float handles are heavy gauge and do not require gusseting at critical fastening points. Solid throttle wire housed in low-friction Teflon-lined casing for smooth operation and low maintenance. Galvanised, braided steel tilting cable is drawn over low-friction pulleys within handle/clevis and is securely attached to the yoke at the swivelling pin. There are no wear surfaces that snag or abrade cable.
Each MBW float is balanced with regard to engine location to provide excellent performance and reduced operator fatigue.
