The Norton Clipper Quickfix blade bore reduction system provides a quick, easy, convenient and ultra-safe means of reducing the centre arbor of a diamond blade to be safely adjusted down in size from 1”/25.4mm to a smaller standard industry size, thus enabling the same blades(s) to be mounted and used on a wider variety of cutting machines for added convenience and greater versatility.

The are two different versions of Norton Clipper Quick Fix adaptors available, one that enables a diamond blade with a 1”/25.4mm bore to be fitted to and used with a machine with a 22.23mm arbor/shaft spindle (PNC 70184623894), the other with a blade with either a 1”/25.4mm or 22.23mm bore to mounted on a machine with a 20mm arbor/shaft spindle (70184622589).

The key and main difference with this simple yet ingenious adaptor and blade centre reducing system over other conventional bushel type reduction ring historically used, is that the reducing ring is mounted on a large flat disc, which is then firmly held in place by the flange of the machine to which it is fitted. This prevents the reduction ring from floating during use and becoming dislodged or even lost, which is a common occurrence with other more conventional types and methods of blade bore reduction used.

The Norton Clipper Quickfix system complies with the requirements of European Standard EN 13236.
