The Norton H231 Self-Grip Sanding Disc range is ideal for fine sanding hardwood or coarse sanding on softwood floors.
These high-performance sanding discs are made of aluminium oxide abrasive, with a semi-open/open structure (depending on grit size) that reduces clogging and improves disc life. They also have anti-static properties that produce an excellent surface quality.
The discs are available in a choice of grit sizes (from 36 to 240 grit), to best suit the job in hand and the desired surface finish required. They are designed to be used dry.
Wood floor sanding typically involves three stages: coarse sanding with aggressive grit discs (36-60) to remove old finishes and level the floor; intermediate sanding with medium grit discs (80-120) to refine and correct imperfections; and fine sanding with fine grit discs (150-240) for a smooth, scratch-free surface, prepping the floor for further treatments or finishing.
Each disc measures 150mm diameter and are designed to be fitted to each of the 3 planetary heads of the Clipper CG MULTI 430 and are sold in packs of 100 discs (36 grit pack size 50 discs) and feature a quick release backing that allows for quick and easy disc exchange, with the minimum of downtime for greater efficiency and productivity.
Recommended for use with the Clipper CG MULTI 430 multi-surface and multi-use floor grinding and surface preparation machine.
