The DTW181Z is a brushless impact wrench for fastening and loosening nuts and bolts. This machine is powered by Makita’s 18V LXT platform.

An electric brake stops the motor quickly when you release the trigger, giving you better control. A forward/reverse switch lets you remove fasteners as easily as you drive them. A built-in LED light illuminates the work area, so you can see clearly in dark corners and enclosed spaces. Auto-stop modes stop the tool automatically at the right moment, helping prevent overtightening and dropped nuts and bolts. Other features include ergonomic soft grip.
