Makita’s DJV181Z is a brushless jigsaw for curved and straight cuts in wood, metal and plastics. It’s powered by Makita’s 18V LXT platform.
You get a no-load speed of 800 – 3500 rpm. A built-in LED light illuminates the work area, so you can see clearly in dark corners and enclosed spaces. Tool-less blade changes let you swap blades in seconds without a key or spanner. An electric brake stops the blade quickly when you release the switch, making it safer and saving time between cuts. It connects to a dust extractor to keep the work area clean and cut down on airborne dust. Other features include barrel handle design.
