It features a highly durable ClearCutTM fabricated steel cutting deck with side ejection and an oversized discharge chute which provides excellent clipping dispersal, as well as a class leading airflow and prevents clogging. It can also be used with an optional 2-bin grass collector or BioClip® plate.

The ClearCut™ cutting deck of the Z242F boasts a unique combination of durability with cutting performance. Its design enables superb results for discharge and collection, as well as for mulching. The deck has a 125mm height for greater airflow, optimally located internal baffles and high-lift blades which create a powerful airflow capable of discharging clippings at high speed to prevent clogging. The chute of the deck is also oversized to aid efficient grass ejection.
The fabricated deck itself is from welded 36mm steel and features cast-iron spindles for high stability and durability. A removable foot plate provides quick and easy access to the cutting deck for easy cleaning and maintenance.
The ergonomic control panel is conveniently located at the user’s fingertips and includes switch activated electric blade engagement.
The Z242F also boasts an integrated and easy to use spring assisted deck lift system and an automatic parking brake which activates or deactivates as the steering levers are moved outwards or inwards, thereby freeing the user of this task. Driver comfort is assured thanks to the thick padded open back driver’s seat with soft outer cover which provides superior support.
The footrest area of the mower has an incorporated and generously sized non-slip surfaces for safe and comfortable use.
The integrated front guard/bumper offers bold styling while protecting the nose of the mower from accidental damage, while the rugged fame and wheels ensure durability long-lasting performance.
