The Husqvarna X Skylotec Power Ascender is designed to enable tree climbers to effortlessly ascend (and descend) into the tree canopy to reach their work area quickly and with ease, thereby increasing productivity levels throughout the working day. With a capacity of 185kg and up to 400 metres, it can be used to safely and efficiently both tree care professionals and their gear up and down with less physical effort, faster and more efficiently; especially as the working day progresses and fatigue starts to creep in. For added convenience and versatility, the ascender can be attached quickly and easily anywhere on the rope. It also has IP55 weatherproof classification.

This compact, lightweight, labour, time and energy saving battery-powered ascender has an intuitive design and user-friendly operation, with a thumb wheel for easy height adjustment, precise positioning and easy, smooth descent. It is also supplied with a convenient remote control that allows ground crew to send additional tools to the work area for even greater efficiency and productivity. As the ascender weighs <7kgs (excluding battery), it is incredibly easy and non-fatiguing to carry and handle. In the event of a battery emptying or a malfunction, it is additionally equipped with an emergency descend button that will get you to the ground safely and supplied in a convenient protective transport and storage case.
