The Husqvarna Wooden Carpenter’s Axe is best suited for carpentry and other woodwork.
This handy and versatile axe is 50cm long and weighs just 1.0kg.
It has a comfortable wooden handle and an axe head made from hand forged high-steel, hardened to stay sharp for a long time. It is also easy to resharpen and is supplied with a leather edge-cover too.
The axe head itself has a recess in it to enable the user’s hand to get as close as possible to the cutting edge for maximum control. The head is attached to the handle using both a wooden and a steel wedge to ensure a secure fit.
