The Husqvarna Soff-Cut® 150 Early Entry petrol powered floor saw is the lightest saw in the Soff-Cut® range and is designed for residential and light commercial applications.

As concrete hydrates and begins to set, it develops internal stresses, which when uncontrolled, can result in shrinkage cracking, as the stresses seek their own relief.

Husqvarna Soff-Cut® is a unique patented system for ultra early entry concrete sawing that enables concrete to be cut within the first one or two hours of finishing and before final set; this both simplifies the working process (compared to conventional sawing) and furthermore reduces the risk of random cracks occurring.

This compact and lightweight saw features a patented low-noise blade enclosure which allows the unit to be used in well-ventilated noise sensitive areas with minimal disruption. In addition, the incorporated low-dust blade block system allows the saw to cry dry, controlling the debris produced and facilitating easier clean ups too. It is also equipped with a vacuum port for easy connection to a Husqvarna DE120, or similar dust extractor.

The Husqvarna Soff-Cut® system uses a specially developed XL Soff-Cut® diamond blades in combination with a unique anti-ravel skid plate. Blades rotate in an up-cutting rotation, whilst the skid plate applies downward pressure to the surface to prevent surface chipping and spoiling.

Husqvarna Soff-Cut® is the only ultra early entry system that enables you to cut in the green zone as part of the finishing process, to more effectively control shrinkage cracking. The term ‘Soff-Cut’ is sometimes referred to as ‘soft cut’, because of its ability to be used in the very early stages of the concrete setting and therefore still being green/softer in composition.

The Soff-Cut® 150 is designed for use with 150mm diameter Soff-Cut® XL6-Series diamond blades, which have a unique triangular bore. Every XL blade is supplied as standard with an anti-ravel skid plate.
