The Husqvarna C5500 is an efficient industrial pre-separator which is designed for really big jobs where a lot of dust is produced.
The purpose of the C 5500 is to separate up to 90% of the vacuumed material before it reaches the dust extractor to which it has been connected to. This greatly increases the suction capacity of the dust extractor, extends its motor and filter life and maintains airflow over time resulting in greater dust pick up, a cleaner work environment and longer filter service intervals.
Using a pre-separator also enhances a dust extractor’s capacity to handle materials that it would not be ordinarily be able to, like soot, burning particles, liquids and other light materials in large volumes. The C5500 can be used for both wet and dry applications.
The incorporated Longopac® bag hose system ensures simple, dust-free bag changes.
Supplied with one 76mm hose (2.5m long), adaptors and one Longopac® bag.

The C5500 has a durable design which features corrosion-resistant steel clamps, a welded frame with dust bag platform and a durable steel handle.
Its welded frame enables easy transportation by resting the machine on it whilst in transit.
It is recommended for use with the Husqvarna S and DE range of dust extractors.
