Husqvarna Aluminium Felling/Splitting Wedges have a dual-purpose design which makes them suitable for both felling and splitting, thereby increasing their versatility and scope of use.
Felling wedges are typically used to help a tree fall in the direction of the notch cut, by actually lifting the tree in that direction. They are also used to prevent the tree from pinching the saw (or leaning back on the saw) while making a back cut, as well as for bucking trees that are already on the ground. In addition to this, these versatile wedges can also be used for splitting logs and are also re-ground as required.
This handy range of aluminium felling/splitting wedges are available in a choice of 2 different lengths and weights; 22cm (550g) and 26cm (1000g).
