The Norton Clipper Extreme Asphalt is a premium grade asphalt cutting diamond blade which is suitable for the wet and dry cutting of asphalt, tarmac, asphalt over concrete, green concrete and abrasive building materials, like soft concrete building blocks.

This high-performance laser-welded diamond blade features 15mm high duo arrow-shaped segments with incorporated i-HD^™ (Infiltrated High Density) technology that delivers extremely fast cutting performance and accuracy, together with eight high wear protection segments that further extend the blade’s life. High Density diamond blades are manufactured using a revolutionary process that delivers unrivalled performance, increased safety and lower manufacturing energy to produce. The infiltration manufacturing process achieves uniform high density diamond grit across each whole segment, resulting in segments that cut faster, wear evenly and perform consistently well throughout the life of the blade; providing optimum cutting performance and long life.

The steel centre of the Clipper Extreme Asphalt has wide gullet shaped slots that contribute to the fast removal of cutting debris, together with patented directional and depth indicators laser cut into the steel centre that produce a stroboscope effect that provides users with low vibration, greater control and better visibility of cut depth when in use. The steel centre also features undercutting protection designed to mitigate the accelerated wear caused by the highly abrasive nature of soft and granular materials.
