Although the 100XT is made for mixing larger batches, it purposely has an extra short wheel base so that is can safely be loaded/unloaded from compact vehicle tail lifts. This greatly assists the portability of the mixer, as do the four large, wide profile rubber transport wheels, mixer pull handle and incorporated fork lift eyes, all designed to aid product movement to and around site, as well as to be operated in harsh conditions.
In order to withstand the rigours of the worst site conditions, the 100XT has an extra heavy-duty and robust chassis, which is not only strong, but easy to clean too. It features a high specification, sealed, low maintenance, heavy-duty gearbox and an extra rigid and reinforced drum to prevent distortion. The ‘Quick Mix’ paddle drums have enhanced mixing performance and have a bolt in/out interchangeable design, which enables them to be replaced with relative ease and speed when necessary.
The large foot operated tip-lock and large tip wheel provide both added operator safety and control with large mixes.
The diesel powered model is equipped with a Stage 5 compliant Yanmar L48 electric start diesel engine. The corresponding drive units for both the electric and diesel models are contained in a lockable stay cool engine compartment for security and lid down operation for enhanced operator safety.
