This premium quality, British Made pilot guide rod is 12mm in diameter and is designed for use when dry drilling with a diamond core bit.
A pilot hole is first drilled and the guide rod inserted into the centre of the chosen Hex 3 Jaw Chuck or SDS Plus adaptor fitted to your dry diamond core bit of choice.
This then enables the pilot guide rod to be placed in the pre-drilled pilot hole, making it easier to drill the required core straight and without deflection.
