The Husqvarna LFV 100 is a robust and fast-operating professional plate compactor with optimised travel speed, high compaction force and high production performance that gets jobs done fast.
It has a reliable, efficient, durable, low maintenance design and is suitable for a wide variety of compaction tasks, including compacting thin to medium layers of granular soils and asphalt (water tank kit recommended for asphalt applications).
The LFV 100 is equipped with a Honda petrol engine with a strong protective tubular frame, a cast iron convex baseplate which provides high manoeuvrability and optimal water distribution, an oil-filled and sealed excitor unit, maintenance free bearings, together with a vented belt guard and flights on pulley ends to generate airflow to both cool and extend belt life.

The LFV 100 can also be supplied with a variety of optional extras, including the pioneering, patented and exclusive Husqvarna low-vibration handle system (standard on all other Husqvarna LF plates), which greatly reduces operator HAV levels and increases safe usage times. This simple to use handle essentially consists of a handle within a handle (reduced vibration handle set within the main standard handle), which can quickly and easily be engaged (simply click in, click out design) and used to greatly reduce Hand Arm Vibration levels, enhance operator comfort levels and significantly extend safe working use. Better still, the low-vibration handle also comes with a lifetime warranty. The same innovative handle can also be folded to save space when transporting and storing, unlike the standard fixed handle supplied with the LFV 100.
Other available extras include an easy to attach blocking paving kit which is designed to protect paving blocks from scratches and cracking, by providing a cushioned layer between the bottom surface of the plate and the laid block surface. It is also simple, quick and easy to fit and remove.
An optional water tank kit is available to prevent hot asphalt from sticking to the baseplate, with a minimum of water. The tank itself is easy, quick and simple to remove and features an oversized cap, which makes it easier, faster and more convenient to fill too.
The LFV 100 is supplied as standard with a strong, tubular protective frame which includes a convenient central lifting eye.
