The Norton Silencio is one of the quietest diamond blade available and is ideal for use in areas that are noise sensitive such as residential ares, city centres, schools and hospitals.
The blade is Nortons Clipper's quietest diamond blade (by 20x (-13dB) compared to conventional blades when used on concrete, reinforced concrete, granite and building materials all whilst acheiving a fast, efficient cut.

The Extreme Beton range of blades feature an extremely generous segment height of up to 17 mm and a bespoke specification for each application type.
A combination of noise dampening material and specially-shaped gullet segments combine to reduce vibrations and whistling, achieving a noise reduction of up to 13db
A noise dampening layer is sandwiched between two sheets of steel which absorbs the cutting vibrations and sound of the product when in use.
The patented 'off-set gullets' prevents the whistling air flow around the blade which helps the noise reduction.
Each blade is fine tuned to deliver the best possible cutting performance on a particular machine apliaction which further reduces noise reduction.
