The Clipper CM501 is a high performance, robust machine with a modern design and is highly versatile and suitable for cutting a wide variety of smaller and mdeium sized materials such as brick, blocks, concrete, natural stone, refractory products, roof tiles, masonry materials etc. The CM501 is also an ideal core saw, suitable for cutting core samples in laboratories or at source, often in remote loactions. Indeed, the uses for this highly versatile bench saw are seemingly endless and is why it dominates sites, industry and educational facilities around the world.
The CM501 Major still retains all the much beneficial working attributes of the Clipper EDW Major that has made it THE 'number 1' selling masonry saw of its type available over the last 30 years, but with the addition of more flowing guarding/contours that make the CM501 Major more aesthetically pleasing to the eye and a few machine refinements.
The CM501 3.60.P is the petrol version of the Clipper Major is powered by a 6.5hp Honda petrol engine, with a 500mm blade guard, thereby providing a very generous 195mm/8" cutting depth when fitted with a 500mm/20" diameter blade, or 165mm/6.5" depth of cut with a 450mm/18" diameter blade.
The CM501 is simple and easy to use and has a number of operating and design features which have contributed towards its undoubted success across the globe. The combination of a winding handle and foot pedal depth control/blade adjustment provides the operator with alternative ways to cut/step cut materials, whilst the built in water pump permits wet or dry cutting as required. The conveyor cart of the CM501 includes friction resistant tilted wheels, providing better cart stability and improved accuracy of cut.
The double lifting rails/fork lift eyes fitted to the CM501 makes it easy to move from location to location.
