The compact footprint of the Power Tower PTS51 (0.78m wide x 1.52m long) coupled with its comparative low weight (310kg), enables the Power Tower PTS51 to be used for applications to be used for applications simply off limits to larger self propelled scissor lifts because of size/weight restrictions. Furthermore, the Power Tower PTS51 is surprisingly agile and easy to manoeuvre/handle, thereby increasing its scope of use. When in position, the Power Tower PTS51 has ingenious auto-locking braked wheels that automatically engage on elevation of the platform.

The Power Tower PTS51 has an innovative sigma-boom vertical lift arrangement that by virtue of its design, increases its integral rigidity and facilitates greater attainable working heights than equivalent scissor packs, and without use of out riggers (indoors).

The Power Tower PTS51 has many inherent built in safety features, including audible ascent and descent, failsafe hydraulic circuit with check valve on lift cylinder, full duplicate emergency controls at ground level, and back up manual emergency controls.

The class leading, generously sized aluminium floored basket of the Power Tower PTS51 provides the operator with more room for tools, equipment and to work in.
